Sheridan’s Interior Design Program is officially accredited by the US-based Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly FIDER) and is recognized by the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (all full-time students are ARIDO members).

The program features training in computer software and computer-aided design (CAD); the development of project management and design skills; an awareness of professional business practice; and academic courses in every semester. Interior Design at Sheridan was the first program of its kind in Ontario to go ‘mobile’ – courses are delivered in networked labs and all students are expected to complete assignments on laptop computers.

This pioneering Bachelor of Design (Honours) Degree Program is jointly offered by the design departments of Sheridan and York University.

The joint program provides a comprehensive professional education in visual communication design. Students benefit from small studio classes, professional computer facilities and an internship.

The Design Practicum focuses on communications, information, and interactive/multimedia design. Design Studies concentrates on design history, research, theory and management.

Translating creative ideas into moving images is the heart of the Media Arts Program. If you are interested in feature film, television drama, broadcast production, documentaries or music video, you will have the opportunity to develop the craft skills required to work effectively in these genres. These skills include writing, producing, directing, camera and lighting, editing, sound design and visual effects. You will also receive instruction in film theory and can specialize in Drama, Documentary or Television Broadcast Production, with the option of pursuing Experimental Projects.

Sheridan Bachelor of Applied Business, Global Business Management is a four-year degree curriculum program designed to teach you the skills required and cultural understanding necessary to succeed on the international business stage.  You'll learn how to launch a product in a foreign market; organize a company's global resources, activities and objectives; prepare international strategies; and devise and implement global marketing and sales processes.

There is a special pleasure in helping young children grow and develop to their maximum potential. Sheridan’s Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program prepares students to work with children up to 12 years of age in child care environments. Students in the program will develop their knowledge and skills in areas such as child development and best practices in early childhood; the early childhood educator’s role and responsibilities; the importance of play in children’s learning; curriculum design and implementation; human relations and human diversity; program models in early childhood; and the promotion of pro-social behaviour.

The three-year Chemical Engineering Technology Program prepares students for careers in chemical and related industries.

A leading feature of this program is an emphasis on practical lab work. This is done in well-equipped laboratories containing sophisticated instruments for chemical analysis, and pilot plant equipment that models industrial operations and industrial instrumentation and control equipment.
